At Allandale Primary School, sport plays an essential role in developing well-rounded learners. Athletics forms the foundation of our sporting calendar and promotes strength, endurance and determination. Learners participate in a range of track and field events, developing personal fitness and striving for personal bests. Our annual inter-house and inter-school athletics meets are highlights of the year, fostering teamwork, school spirit and a love for healthy competition.

Cricket

Cricket at Allandale teaches strategy, patience and precision. Learners develop their skills in batting, bowling and fielding under the guidance of dedicated coaches.

Netball

Netball offers learners the opportunity to build agility, coordination, and cooperation. Matches against neighbouring schools provide learners with a platform to grow in confidence and showcase their talent.

Soccer remains one of the most popular sports at Allandale Primary. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate and the school regularly competes in friendly matches

Volleyball

Volleyball promotes focus, agility and cooperation. Learners quickly develop essential coordination and reflex skills while enjoying a fast-paced, team-oriented game.

Chess

Chess challenges learners to develop strategic thinking, concentration and problem-solving skills in a fun and competitive environment. Through practice sessions and friendly tournaments, learners enhance their ability to plan ahead, make decisions under pressure and think critically.
